Nunez hit her with some HARD shots and essentially knocked some shit around in her brain to the point where she basically tapped out while unconscious/semiconcious/blacked out.
Say what you will but the stoppage was clearly late, as she was going into some grapple/hug TKO mode (like schaub climbing his imaginary ladder) at the end of the fight and the ref had to yell her name to get off Amanda. Very late stoppage.
And then, in every single moment of the fight replay the UFC put a camera angle where it didn't show any of the blood or gore that was her broken nose and that blood waterfall geysering out. There were about 6 notable moments to be replayed and every single one switched to a different camera angle than then ones used in the original fight.
Thoughts? I think this just proves people are at least a bit more uncomfortable with footage of women getting beaten and knocked out than men, which seems more natural, hence the reason there was no large-scale platform for women's combat sports for a long time in the first place
