When I was younger i watched an episode while having fever and being close to 42 degrees so I was a little messed up.

Remember when robot wars was a gentlemens sport where the most damage you could expect was a bit of a scratch on the paintwork? Hypnodisc came along and ruined it.
How come nobody ever built an impaling robot? Picture a classic wedge shape, but instead of a flipper it has barbed spikes, so once you get underneath your opponent they can't get off. You could take them all over the arena, offer them up to the house robots on a plate.
