This doesn't really solve anything, other players are bought in because our players aren't good enough, the reason for that being that there is too much money in the EPL, if these teams lose they can potentially lose millions in revenue so its a big risk playing academy players. As a result younger players get loaned out to places where they don't really learn from top coaches and it hinders their development. We need more B teams and restricting of our leagues to allow good academy English teams like Manchester United etc. to play their younger squads against real opposition, like in the Championship or League 1 week in week out with the same coaches. Have it so they can't play foreigners in the B team unless they are homegrown and U21, and that they can't get promoted to the Premier league or something.
