The majority of Florida's state-run prisons ARE NOT air conditioned. All contracted prisons are air conditioned.
Most prison inmates live in dormitories not cells. Florida State Prison in Starke is the only Florida prison where all inmates live in single cells.
Most Florida inmates must serve a minimum of 85% of their sentences before release. Inmates released in December 2014 served an average of 85.2% of their sentences.
Florida prisons DO NOT have cable television. Inmates have access to a single, donated television in most of their day rooms that services about 75 inmates per dorm. Correctional Officers control the channels and remote. Death row inmates have 13-inch (donated or purchased) television sets in their cells.

This is true, but they went to games all the time in the 90s, attendance only soured post-2002 or something like that. I think it's a combination of economy and disgust with the FO wanting to play moneyball and not keep a team together despite having good prospects. They got so used to bad product (excepting 2005, 07, and 08, when they were at least on the map) that they just couldn't stomach it, which is why they've been hesitant to come even when Tito came.
Meanwhile, Monday's game is sold out. The Cavs have a lot to do with that because the curse is reversed and people genuinely believe again, but at the end of the day it all comes down to having a good team. Call it fair-weather or depressed, but when teams aren't competitive they don't sell tickets, it's not hard to understand. I'm glad the Indians are back though.

I train with Pilates in the offseason and in-season on a daily basis. Pilates gets my body into a position where I'm activated, I'm loose and I'm ready to go as soon as I step out onto the field. It aids my warm-up process; it gets me much more ready for the day of activity than any other type of warm-up ever has. And the amount of core strength that I've built with Pilates and hamstring strength and hip mobility and mobility in my shoulders and my spine -- those are all things that directly correlate with what I have to do on the field.
I kind of brought Pilates to the Cubs. I went to Ricketts, Jed, Theo, and I told them this is our way to be innovative. In five to 10 years, every clubhouse in baseball is going to be doing this. I think at first a lot of guys were skeptical. But as time has gone by, the amount of guys that are taking part in either a morning routine of Pilates or an afternoon session is pretty high. I'd say there's been 15-20 guys that are actively using Pilates. And they are all seeing the added benefit.
