Markov is 37, and while he is a great valuable player, there is clearly a decline in the number of minutes he can play. Weber is signed until he is 41! At a $7.8M cap hit! Meanwhile Subban's contract ends when he 33 I believe, meaning the $9M cap hit is at least carrying you through his prime.
