You really don't understand how economics works do you? Newsflash: you STILL get a shitload of refugees because that has nothing to do with the EU (geneve convention) AND you still have following all EU rules if you want a trade deal with your biggest export market (EU) that is halfway decent. You get all the negatives and none of the positives. You're literally Europe's bitch now.

You'll still be cucked seeing as Boris and most of the leave leadership wants to stay in the common market and have a Norway type of relationship.

Which means that you still abide by the EU's regulations, still pay and yet don't get a deciding vote or a veto.

Good job England. You put your own union in danger and nothing you did actually helped the issues that you were railing against whilst still putting you in a worse bargening position.

Yes, your bunch of has-beens and 2nd rate import africans completely #rekt Island. Don't know why those ice monkeys even attempted to play against England.

Personally, I switched channels at the 2:0 and didn't even see the 3:0 anymore. Strong leads throughout the entire game, phenomenal posession rates and a team that was on the move for literally 90 minutes. Also, that goalie did a fine job.

Then I realized I was watching Germany play against Slovakia. Later, I watched Inglund get shat on by the trout fishing troupe of Knolleborg's village dentist and I realized that they took the brexit meme too far.

>leave the EU
>leave the Euros

When will we finally see the british /sp/exit?

Why? We have tabloids too and they sell very well.
Using "misguided" in this case is wrong, they made a choice you disagree with, that doesn't mean they were lied too.
Every fucking faggot that loses a vote says the other side was "misguided" or "didn't understand the issue". This level of projecting being commonplace is unhealthy.

Swiss voters are probably slightly better informed than other Europeans on average, but that's because their getting informed matters.

And yeah, the UK governance is much more responsible for the state of their country than the EU, and leaving the EU the way they're doing it now will be incredibly damaging, but I can definitely understand wanting to leave the EU. It's pretty shit, democratically speaking.

It's actually more probable the opposite 2bh.

The legislative power of the EU is more a meme shield that local governments use to justify their fuck ups and the risingly neo-liberal economy.

The problem with Greece was that they wanted out the EU completely. The UK wants to mantain presence in the market, thus not posing a real threat to how the EU works.

Lads, this is historic. When you are 80 years old, wrapped in a blanket and comfy in your rocking chair by an open fire, surrounded by your great-grandchildren; you can tell the spellbound youngsters about the time you saw Sir Wayne Rooney retire from international football after choking against a team of dentists and part timers which has never won any silverware or even qualified for a competition of note in its history, scoring a penalty against the mighty Iceland.

The fire crackles as the children gasp in awe. Snow begins to fall outside the window the your tale comes to an end, but the youngsters are still thirsty for more. 'Tell us about the two he scored against Andorra again Grandpapa' one child begs. 'No, no! The legendary brace vs Kazakhstan!' implores another. The oldest boy pipes up. 'Be quiet you two, Grandad tells those ones all the time. Go on, tell us the one you promised us last time - the penalty vs Slovenia...Grandad..G-Grandad?'

The rocking chair creaks to a halt. A serene expression is on your face and all of Rooney's goals flash before your eyes in your final moments as the children embrace you. His one World Cup goal, The legendary double in Minsk. That tap in against Liechenstien. they know whats happening and are scared, but calm.

The last thing you hear as you slide into the black warmth of death is the youngest boy - old beyond his years, a football fanatic who spends every free moment outside kicking his battered leather ball against the wall 'Dont be sad, he lived a hell of a life...in the age of Rooney.'

>As i've stated before, it's easy being the world bank of every dictator that ever lived
Yeah not to throw you back your "people are dumb" at you, but you're missinformed there. Most dirty money is in British dependencies and US hands these days and banking is about 5% of our economy.

he's right though, Switzerland as a state was created and recognized as neutral by international treaties because elites wanted both a safe place for their moneys and a safe refuge in case of need
The neutrality of your state was ab origine imposed as condition of existence by other countries and for that reason a lot of banks, international organizations and industries have moved their legal residence in Switzerland
They are the reason behind Switzerland's wealth, how can you think lobbies run the EU more than they run your country?

idk who wrote that book but a person must have a lot of confusion in his head to think that the Lisbon Treaty can be seen as the legal equivalent of a constitution.
I mean he defines the proposed change from directives/regulations to european law "a secondary or emblematic change"
Besides that, this guy says that the Lisbon treaty made the EU more democratic, which is a completly subjective statement
Not really a good source of infos
>>
>>69038192
>had been internationally recognised as an independent neutral state
You quoted that
Saying that you was neutral before it was recognized internationally makes no sense, since neutrality must be acknowledged by other nations in order to become effective and binding for them

that's where we disagree
it seems illogica that lobbies have more influence on the EU institutions rather than on the institutions of a country that depends economically on banks and big corporations (that have their legal residence theere for the reasons i said before)

Brilliant move there Britain. But for most companies who import from Britain it may get more costly or time consuming, thus they will look for alternatives. So unless you don't sell highly specialised products like companies in Switzerland do, you are pretty much on the receiving end on that one.
Not to mention all your companies will still have to follow the regulations and standards of the EU if they want to export into EU territory.
>>
>>69038766
>neutrality must be acknowledged by other nations in order to become effective and binding for them
Correct, but we didn't participate in any offensive wars before being recognized. Point still stands that we were considered neutral before 1815. and the only reason we weren't at some point is because Napoleaon forced our hand.

>the institutions of a country that depends economically on banks and big corporations
Oh you're right, the EU doesn't depend on those at all. Stop embarassing yourself.

It's a bit of a bizarre situation.

The votes to get in or stay out stirred up a lot of uncharacteristic nationalist sentiment back in the day and despite the Norwegian people being pretty overwhelmingly against the idea of joining to this day there is usually no controversy of any kind when adopting EU regulations that the Norwegian people didn't vote for. In fact Norway is better at adopting EU laws than many actual EU countries.
