Why aren't more teams using far throws ins? It's like an additional free kick every time.
Also why aren't they lifting each other up for high headers? A bit like they do in Rugby.
Because it's not something anyone can do. Long, accurate and powerful throw-ins take a lot of training.

We do this in our Kreisliga B team. We've got two guys who can do pretty far throw-ins on our tall striker who stands about at the six-yard box and prolongs it with his head into the center, and once the ball is there everything can happen.
