Honestly, I'm kind of happy how difficult the game is. I agree that spending real-life shekels for in-game upgrades is fucked up, but let's ignore that for a second. I was playing NCAA 14 earlier today on All-American difficulty and beat the AI 72 to 14. So many sports games are just too damn easy. You never lose. I like how when I play 2K16, I sometimes lose. It gives playing a full season some meaning. There's tension, and the sense that I really need to play well to succeed. You just don't get that in any other sports games.
I remember a thread where some anon simulated a franchise mode as far as it could go and posted screenshots of the champions, maps, etc. That shit was so great. Someone should do that again.

Does anyone else notice how difficult it is to improve your team in MyGm after about 4 seasons? The quality of available players both in the draft and free agency is pretty mediocre. I keep getting the "sign an 88 overall player" goal but there is literally NEVER a player that good in FA. The number 1 overall pick has gone from being a 78 to about a 76 as well.

I made my pg bigger, like Magic Johnson, 6'4 and 225 pounds so I can have a presence in the paint and grab rebounds and block taller guys. And I made his style "defensive". I'm still a reliable scoring option because my inside and outside scoring attributes are all maxed out but online I like to run the offense rather than score. It all depends on your style honestly but if you want a Steph Curry pg make him smaller and have his style set to "outside scoring" so he will be a fast 3 point shooter. Just don't expect to be able to dunk or guard anybody outside the pg position really.

The best thing you can do to get vc is play most of a season, get MVP win the Finals and wait for you to sign a new contract and then you can get real money for playing well instead of like 475-500 vc a game I get 750-800 a game in mycareer. Playing with friends online makes it a fun way to earn it instead of mycareer which is a dull grind.
