Rivaldo played his entire career, for Corinthians, Palmeiras, Deportivo, Barcelona, Milan, Olympiakos and beyond, and the Brazil NT, as an AM/Second Striker, except for that one year Lang Baal pushed him to LW and a shitstorm ensued.

Zidane was like a combination of Xavi and Iniesta. Sure, he was AM in theory, but he came back deep for the ball and spend a lot of time, in fact most of the time helping to build up the attack from the center of the pitch and controlling the tempo - typical CM tasks.
anyway to suggest that he played at the same position as Rivaldo, who was practically a second striker is ridiculous and simply wrong. That's like saying Raul and Iniesta played at the same position.
