Somebody even asked if they were gonna release a pre-game data editor like FM gets so they can make their own leagues and they said they had "no immediate plans" for it.
I feel certain that a few months back Miles was hinting at them announcing another version (although I may be misremembering) but now I'd say it looks like its kinda done. They keep patching and brining in additional leagues and stuff which is fair enough and admittedly not something you would think they would do if they were just done with developing the game but at the same time they clearly sold quite a few copies and I can't imagine there being much point in them spending outrageous amounts of time patching and fixing this version if on the next version they were going to upgrade match engine and everything else to make it more of an FM16/17 version of EHM.
So I'd say it probably isn't happening or at least not any time soon and if it does happen it will still be like an outdated version of FM but for hockey rather than being more indepth.

It was a special offer but I bought it on release day for like 5 or quid and although I didn't play it much it was decent. Never played the older EHMs so couldn't say but it definitely feels like FM08 just for a different sport.
I haven't played it in ages though and they have patched it just a bunch so although I can't imagine it looks or feels a lot different it will certainly have a lot more leagues and probably play a bit better.
But they might just be sensible and do what FM should do desu and just do a new version every 2 or 3 years and try to actually get it right (not that I'm a big SI hater, I actually quite like them but release is always fairly horribly buggy) especially as presumably the fanbase is much smaller so it'd make sense to keep pushing it for 2-3 years to fund the next edition before trying to build a bigger fanbase with a better version.

I don't have any screenshots, but Luca Antonelli was a beast in my Leverkusen save back in FM14. Even though he was getting old and his skills deteriorated, he was playing just as well. He was better than his replacements and the regens that were coming up, it was crazy.

It should be a shit tactic/formation in theory but it has worked. Lots of pressing, high defensive line, quick and aggressive passing. Set to play wider even though my only wide players are wing backs, but the computer seems to get confused by it. It leads to a ton of goals on both sides and also a ton of cards which are generally only on my side.

FMH is nice, anon, I've been playing it whenever I'm forced to wait in lines for dangerous amounts of time (or even at the gym), and it's a nice, casual break from the typical FM environment.
Also, regens work like in the old CM01\02, where if a GOAT retires you can just buy his regen for peanuts at some club on his home nation.
Of course if you are >one of us, spending most of your time at home, maybe you should check out stuff like Online Soccer Manager, the one with the weird figures, because you only need to input tactics and train players every once in a while. Games are scheduled and played by the computer.
