What do you think about this guy? Is he a future WDC vor just some sub-tier driver?

Hard to tell. He's just wild right now, not really fast or consistent. If he doesn't get it right, teams will lose their patience and he'll make way for the next promising connected/rich kid.

I thought very highly of him during and after his first season because he showed strong talent for someone his age, especially in qualifying. Then he went against Ricciardo and was sometimes faster than him in 2015. For 2016 I expected them to be about equal but Kvyat disappointed. Currently I'd say he's about on the same level as Sainz.

I think he is high tier material but getting fucked over like he was ended things for him mentally . I mean he had a podium this year , everybody seems to forget , had he been in Vertappen's car in Spain i'm pretty sure he would have win it too.
