Don't get me wrong. It was a choke, but you ate a fucking casual if before that play you thought the game was over and it was a guaranteed victory for Seattle. I was watching the game without any bias, and even at that moment, I didn't doubt the Patriots to do something incredible like force a turnover, or hold them on downs, or drive the length of the field after they scored. They had Marshawn Lynch. I hate Seattle but I had pretty much given up any hope of New England stopping them once they got that close to the endzone. Calling that pass play was the pinnacle of stupidity. I don't know if it was Pete Carroll trying to be clever, or Russell Wilson trying to be the hero, but they should have just run the fucking ball.
