And of course I would prefer Sanchez to be in the rotation come playoff time, but its better to have him start and then move him to the bullpen because A.) You don't put the rest of his career in jeopardy by risking injury keeping him in the rotation B.) you dont burn an option on his contract and C.) He'll be on the big league roster all year contributing in one way or another, and not being sent down half way through.
