If there is no shot clock in soccer why doesn't the team with the lead just pass the ball around between each other and bleed out the clock like pic related?
this is how liverpool won so much before the backpass rule came in. they would score then just pass it back to the keeper who could pick it up.
this is why they haven't won a league title since the rule was changed.
If you don't shoot you don't score. If you are leading however then pic related does happen.

because ronaldo ended up winning that game
Because the opposition would eventually close them down, they aren't just going to sit back and let them do pic related for 90 minutes.

because it is hard as fuck and people who dont rate barcelona's passing game are clueless and probably cant play.

That's literally what 90 minutes of the sport are, regardless of anyone having the lead

They often do

Because it's not easy to keep possession for 70% of the time.
08-12 Barcelona and Spain were the only teams to efficiently kill close games with it

In college basketball, North Carolina was infamous for running their 4 corners offense to close out games. This consisted of basically sticking their players at the corners of the front court and sending constant cutters into the paint. This forced teams to come out and chase the ball, or the clock would simply run out.
Normally, they would start this in the last 10-12 minutes of the game but I saw them stat it halfway thru the 1st half, with an 8pt lead.
That is why there is a college shot clock.
