/sp/, mainly American /sp/, I have a dilemma.
For most of my life I have watched the NFL and nobody in my family or my close friends have really enjoyed it, that changed a few years back.
I've been married for 2 years now and my wife's son has been pestering me to hold the ball while we watch but it's kind of like a "man of the house" type thing, same as cutting the turkey or manning the BBQ.
Would buying him a secondary, smaller ball be acceptable? It's started to cause fights between me and him, which then causes fights between my and my wife. I refuse to give up holding the ball completely, but perhaps a compromise won't hurt
What do I do?

You're raising another man's child, he's already more man than you.
Just give him the ball, anon.
