As a Cavs fan I have to give a RIDICULOUS amount of respect to the Warriors TEAM. Curry isn't playing very well, and Klay is playing fairly average, but the TEAM is playing like they're impossible to stop. If they played like this against the Thunder, it would have been a sweep. Listen, BronBron is a special Athlete. He's an amazing physical specimen. I've met the man he's a fucking greek god. If you were to make a list of all time great physical specimens to play in the NBA he would be no.1, 2 or 3 with Wilt Chamberland and Shaq being the other 2.
But he's not the best small forward, point guard, shooting guard, power forward, or center i've seen. The best point guard i've seen (overe a full career) was Magic Johnson (in a few years this answer might be Steph Curry), the greatest SG of all time was Jordan of course, the greatest SF of all time was probably Larry Bird (I would take 82-88 bird over ANY YEAR James), the greatest PF was probably Tim Duncan (or Karl Malone), and the greatest Center of all time was probably... shit i could list 5 who could qualify (bill russell, Chamberland, olajuwon, Shaq, Kareem AJ)
see the problem we have with bronbron? He is a jack of all trades, master of none. He's a pretty good passer, he's a pretty good rebounder, he's a pretty good post player, he's a mediocre defender, he's a mediocre jump shooter. He'll go straight to the hall of fame. he's definitely a hall of famer, he'll be on everyone's short list for top SFs of all time. but he's not the best or even top 5 of all time nba player. Maybe if he bothered to master something he would be. but he won't.
If there is one thing he could have been, he could have been one of the most dominant low post scorers in league history. If there is one aspect of his game that is almost great, it's that. However he HATES playing in the low post, and dislikes playing PF/C for long periods of time.
