He's not as bad as his haters say, but nor is he as good as advertised. Despite all the hype, he hasn't made our results that much better or worse. It's the same old same old really, especially given that the talent pool isn't as deep as it was in th 00s.
I'm not saying he should stay. He had his chance and he hasn't really done much. He's not wrong that more of our players need to be playing in Europe, but realistically that only becomes sustainable when our development model bears fruit.
