Remember the Seahawks in 2013? Their defensive scheme bootyblasted the entire NFL and suddenly everyone wanted to emulate them. The same will happen in basketball, as if it wasn't enough that great bigs are already disappearing, teams will now want to mimic the Warriors success and draft scrawny 3 point chuckers all over the place. Players that would normally be spot up snipers will be forced into endless chucking and primary ball handling, the sport of basketball as we knew it will die. There's nothing wrong with him. The OKC offense didn't do a good enough job executing. They gave the ball to Durant to iso on the best perimeter defender in the world. No one can get buckets like that reliably. They needed to get into their sets quicker and somehow get iggy off Durant like setting a pick with RWB. They did that once and there was a switch but of course it was late in the clock and Westbrook decided to attack Iguodala and got stripped while KD had Klay on him. It's too much to ask of Durant to get buckets in iso with no movement on Iggy at a consistent rate.

I'll take the bait, I'm not really mad but I can see why some people might justifiably be. OKC choked no doubt, but they also would have won in 6 games had they not been like -84 to the warriors from behind the 3. It's the difference between the teams organically and any sane observer would tell you OKC should have adjusted (as well as stopped letting Kanter and Adams guard Klay/Curry).
The truth is the Cavs are a better team than OKC and probably stand a much realer shot of beating GS than most people realize. Iggy was given Finals MVP for more or less trying to stop Lebron, and he still won two games by himself. With Irving and Love actually in the picture, as well as the newfound ability to set NBA records for threes made, I'd say the Cavs have a chance to take it in 6 or 7.

As a Warriors fan, I have to say this. If the Thunder had bought into Donovan's coaching, they would have won game 6 and they would have won game 7. Both those games unraveled for the Thunder in the second half because guys started reverting back to the old Thunder, the type of team that lost everytime >we played them in the regular season.
