Towns usually have leagues run through the town itself. Not sure of cost or whatever. As far as I know there are various levels, you can join a serious league or just for fun. When I played I was just in a fun league, where ppl signed up and then they organized the teams. There were some try hards in the sense that some people are there to legit play the game, alot of people were there just to socialize.

I wanted them to move downtown for the longest time. It would be cool because kcmo is a great city and would help development and all that. But there is something comfy about having the stadium in the middle of nowhere. It's a unique experience akin to football tailgating. There's nothing like it in all of baseball. As great as a downtown stadium would be I will take a unique and noteworthy ballpark experience in KC over any gameday atmosphere in baseball. Modern stadiums are derivative and generic. Can't get this anywhere else.
