Some defining qualities in Zidane has made him a great fit for Real Madrid. Just because you have the most expensive squad doesn't mean they automatically work well together. Same goes for companies and other businessess. It takes a manager to gel everything.

It's the most competitive league still, albeit for the wrong reasons (£). At least to win you have to go through all of the teams including the top ones, most of which are made of plastic which makes it kinda harder, rather than being a plastic team yourself, not even the second best team in the nation, and getting the european title handed to you through cheap draws and protection. Real of all teams in history is most likely the only one to have never been refballed out a champions league final.
