There's a big reason for all this Vodafone 4GLTE advertisement. The infrastructure around there is notoriously shit and as you can see, it's common for them to go on and off.
You also have to think about safety, if a car hasn't come across the line then they can narrow down the cars out there and talk to the team to learn more or get reports from others.

The Schulze-GTR is not a GT3 car, it's actually running in SP8T and closer to a production car. So compared to a GT3 it's heavier, has different axles and a mostly stock drivetrain with AWD.
They just fitted a GT3 aero kit to the car this year and are confusing the shit out of everyone.

Not entirely sure, hard to tell, but he went into the barriers pretty hard, car went up on its side quite far and then into the other side of the road.

Doing a smooth takeoff from a standstill is extremely hard in these things and flunking it can damage your transmission or clutch. It's much safer and easier to have the pit crew give you that initial push and take off when it's rolling
