I don't know, but the calls went in favor of the Yankees I'm sure

Not a Tigers fan but that game pissed me off. The guy was out by a mile.

Shoeless Joe is innocent. He was 12/32 hitting and had 18 total bases. MLB has completely fucked him.

Not to mention they won't let him in the hall

Not a game but the entire expos move to washington was rigged.

They removed signs to the stadium, cut the local TV broadcast for 2 years, and sold off the talent the minute they got good in the final 3 or so years of the franchise. It was fucking painful for montrealers who supported the team for 35 years

rigged in favor of the yankees not getting swept?

How does refball happen in baseball?

It's so slow that there should be no issue of interpretation upon reviewing the footage.

Yikes... I had no idea.

That's pretty freaking brutal. Wonder why MLB wanted out of Quebec so badly ?

Probably has to do with the fact that the city didnt want to put up public funds for a new stadium

Im sure Ol' Bud Selig has something to do with it...

They tried rigging Game 5 of the ALDS last year (Texas vs Toronto).

That has to go down as one of the craziest innings in baseball history. And then 7 months later it spawned punching memes.

Bud Selig was a buffoon and too focused on saving his precious Brewers to care about anything else. Manfred has done so much more than Selig in the short time he's been commissioner.

The only thing that occurs in baseball is point shaving with select players like Pete Rose.

Umps hating guys and fucking up the occasional call happens all the time, but the only time I really remember being completely flabbergasted by it was that ~19 inning Pirates v someone game a few years ago

I don't even remember what the play was exactly that amazed me at how overt they were (I'm thinking a play at home to end the game?). You could tell they just wanted to go home so they said fuck it I'm giving this game away.
>>
>>67732154
I remember that now. Ump called the tying run out at home when he was clearly safe -- not even debatable. The ump just wanted the game to end.
>>
>>67732154
I remember that, I was on /sp/ that night, and the "LETS GO PIRATES" girl was going fucking hard. Shit was wack.
>>
>>67732485
You got it backwards

He called the game winning run who was clearly out, safe

>>67732684
wow. i have little interest in boreball but that makes me mad. Has to be one of the worst calls in sports
>>
>>67732747
I think he just wanted to go home
>>
>>67732684
Holy fuck was that bad! Unreal. The 19th inning probably had something to do with the ump wanting to go home.

That's crazy though.
