Well this also takes me back to another point I had. We can't completely count this team as being good or successful yet in May. That's like counting your chickens before they hatch. That was me, I probably went overboard but holy shit, there's absolutely no way this team can be that bad. The Rangers are a good team, possibly the best in the American League on paper (keynote, on paper).
It all comes down to the Central, if we can keep raking it up with the other teams, I have total confidence we'll be in the playoffs. The only team that worries me is maybe the Indians if they get hot sometime soon, or the Royals if they get back on track and fast.
So far, the stars are aligned in a way that will allow us to go places. Offense needs to step it up, but pitching and defense is our forte that will carry us for good. Why do you think the even year Giants, despite no offense, kept on winning?
