I just started watching soccer this year. I've seen the memes, but I've never actually watched it. With the Leicester meme this year, I figured it was a meme I could follow. I quickly fell in love with the sport. I always had the typical American view against ties, flopping, scoreless games, and bullshit added time, but it's not as bad as you think it is. I love American sports, but there isn't one where you can see a team literally lose a championship In a matter of seconds, Defense can't immediately turn into offense in any other sport,

Yes it's silly that a team can win the championship from two other teams tying, but is it really any different than a team clinching a first round bye from another team losing? Yes ties can be shit, but if every team plays each other, they still are a useful result to judging a team's full-year resume. Flopping is gay, but it happens in literally every sport now. So much goes into a 0-0 draw, that you should appreciate it. Us Americans should care more about soccer, it's actually massively entertaining,
Also, no one can deny that the round-robin style season eliminates the need for a traditional American-style playoff format.

Ever soccer league has a cup tournament as well though, I don't see how this is so hard to understand.

If you end up watching MLS at some point, don't turn into a total faggot when you do. Don't be the "fight and win" guy
