While I also got used to the Carlsberg on the shirt, it bears pointing out that Liverpool's golden era was in the 70s & 80s and it was 1993 that Carlsberg became the sponsor. So it's something to be a bit sentimental about, sure, but not really something that defines the club.
Adidas goes back a bit further, 1985, but they were only there for the tail end of the dominance of the English league.
Teams change sponsors and kit makers all the time. I think you're reaching a bit with that point.
