They are the worst NHL franchise.
Historically every pro league has its own version of the Washington Generals, a team that just sucks every year yet is still allowed to exist.
Blue Jackets (NHL), Lions (NFL), and until recent history, the Clippers (NBA) and Rangers (MLB). Not sure who the new normals will be, but up until 5 years ago all were worse than the BJ's.
