The Heat (and the NBA in general) do not want Chris Bosh dying on the court. That would be terrible. Egg on everyone's faces plus, on a personal level, you never want someone to die for no reason. Business people are ruthless, but Riley/Arison/whoever would easily choose Chris Bosh's life over a trip to the Finals.
