We don't allow one single person or company to own more than 49% of a club's shares ("50+1 rule")
The majority has of a club has to be owned by the club members.
(The only exceptions are Wolfsburg and Leverkusen, because VW and Bayer bought the clubs before the Bundesliga was created)
Of course there are ways to work around this, like Red Bull did by founding a club in Leipzig and only giving club membership to their executive board members (fans are not allowed to become members)
