Which country (after the USA) is the second best at handegg?
>>
>>66966430
Canada obviously, you moron
>>
>>66966430

Probably Japan or Mexico.
>>
>>66966430
Canada. Germany and Straya are probably the only other countries who give a remote shit.
>>
Samoa, obviously.

IFAF World Championship
>>
>>66966502
How the fuck, Japan? Amost any country's All-Star team would lose to an average American high school squad.
>>
>>66966563
US didn't participate in the first two. You can see why from the last three.
>>
>>66966563

America just participated the years they won, and they sent like a z squad or something like that.
>>
>>66966563
i played on a division III high school team and we were really bad. we lost 52-0 once.
>>
>>66966563
USA did not partecipate

I kinda think the US should sit out the Ifaf world championship
It's stopped being interesting

Makes sense. i don't know if we actually have a handegg NT. If we ever get one, I'll probably try to qualify just for lulz, right now I have a physique of Randy Bullock, but I'm working on it.
>>
>>66966652

It's really hard, at least here it is. The tryouts are very demanding and there isn't really much of a gifted physique advantage. Granted, being a drunk piece of shit isn't the ideal, but still.
>>
>>66966563
>American high school squad
That's pretty much what we send to those competitions, not even kidding.
>>
Japan would be competitive if they had bigger/taller players. Probably third behind Canada right now.

Also Austria is apparently pretty good in Europe.
>>
>>66966785
isnt japan quite good at rugby?
so i guess the physic of the players isnt a problem as international rugby is pretty competive
>>
>>66966825
At some point in American Football - when you're going up against the elite players - you need some height in key positions.
>>
What other countries have the most NFL fans?
>>
>>66966785
The problem is most people seriously don't give a fuck about the sport in Europe and the world, like the indifference is on a whole different level.

In Czech republic for example they have a league, but most of the teams are amateurs, they're just guys who do this shit as a hobby. Not only they do it for free, they even have to buy gear with their own money and the lack of participation results in some completely grotesque shit like 200 lbs nose tackles or defenses that don't even carry a single nickelback because there's almost nobody in the league who can actually pass. There's like two teams in the league where players actually get paid and guess what, all of them are Americans, usually D-III castoffs.
>>
>>66966903
none really

nfl is pretty irrelevant outside the USA

not that we give a shit
>>
>>66966914

Some states here like the NFL. We get at least 3 games on national TV per week.
>>
>>66966903
Outside of Canada? UK and Germany. And it's still pretty irrelevant in both.
>>
>>66966914
That's pretty much what I thought... although I've heard that there are many Steelers bars throughout the world
>>
>>66966903
By head count, Canada, probably.
By total number of fans, Mexico.
Per capita, probably Canada again.
>>
>>66966905
>Czech republic
they officially changed the name recently, you dont have to add republic anymore
>>
>>66966959
can we still Czech em?
>>
>>66966988
Holy shit you can. Fucking check'd.
>>
>>66966988
Checked
>>
>>66966472
Japan has a GOAT team

most americans don't give a shit either. for them the world has their sport (soccer) and the americans have theirs (football). its funny to see europeans get mad that the super bowl champions have "world champions" as their title though.
>>
>>66966949
five star post nigga
>>
canada actually has a league where players go to the nfl and has players in the nfl
>>
Look at foreigners in the NFL

There's one German that I'm aware of and one Polish player

Not really sure who else

Yeah but soccer is reasonably okay in the US, many people will at least know who Messi or Ronaldo is even if they're not really fans and we have 5 million registered youth soccer players.

This is completely different when it comes to football in Europe, almost nobody cares about it, much less play it. America could literally field a team made up of janitors and gas station attendants who played some football in junior high and they would blow the fuck out of most world's national teams.
>>
>>66967110
Two Germans actually, DL Markus Kuhn of the Giants and OL Seb Vollmer of the Pats, Colts also released Bjorn werner a month ago
Cairo Santos, Chiefs' Brazilian kicker
The Steelers' punter, forgot his name, is Australian
A couple Canadians (I know of one for sure, an offensive lineman for the Chiefs, I'm pretty sure there is someone else, but i don't remember who exactly)
That's about it.
>>
>>66967110
Lawrence Tynes is Scottish, Will Svitek (ex-Falcons) is Czech, Michael Roos is Estonian, Sebastian Vollmer is German and Tamba Hali is from Liberia.
>>
>>66966949
+1 upvote
>>
>>66967176
Oh, and HAYNE, somehow he still is on the 9ers roster.
>>
>>66967176
Ziggy Ansah on the Lions is from Ghana and Osi Umeniyora is a Nigerian born in London.
>>
1. USA
2. Canada
3. Poland
4. Germany
5. Brazil
6. Italy
7. Japan
8. Mexico
9. Ireland
10. Argentina
>>
>>66967242
Japan and Mexico are actually the top two under USA and Canada
Look up the IFAF World Championship
>>
>>66967176
The kicker for the Raiders is from Poland

The current Bama kicker is also from Poland, wouldn't be shocked if he's in the NFL soon
>>
>>66966430
None, it's a containment sport that nobody else plays
>>
>>66967220
>>66967176
Also an Estonian guy on the Bengals, Margus Hunt
>>66967275
Yeah, I know about Seabass, not the Bama kicker though
>>
>>66966430
Germany, doesn't your league have a decent WR in the upcoming draft?
>>
>>66967308
his name is Adam Griffith which isn't very Polish sounding but I guess he was orphaned when he was young and was adopted by a family in German and took their name
>>
>>66967242
>Poland

Someone explain. Are you guys memeing just because of Janikowski?
>>
>>66967335
family in Georgia*

sorry it's 6:45AM here
>>66967331
yeah Moritz Boehringer, he hasn't been playing for very long but had a great combine
>>
>>66967242
why does germany get ranked so high (have seen it being mentioned a few times itt) ?
american football is pretty much a non issue here, i doubt it even makes it in the top 10 of most watched (even less played) sports
i guess tom brady might ring a bell for some and a few watch the superb owl, but thats pretty much it
>>
>>66967390
Germany has one of the best league systems in Europe. Which isn't saying much, but it's there.

t. knower
>>
>>66967390
i read spiegel (German not American version) and it's usually in the sports section during the season but i'm not sure that's a much read paper

Because there are lots of American soldiers in Germany who had babies with desperate German/Polish women looking for a green card.
>>
>>66967491
i thought that whole green card thing was a meme
>>
>>66967523

I know a girl from Stuttgart who married a Puerto Rican in the US army and got herself pregnant by the time she was like 21, now they live in North Carolina and she's getting divorced from the husband kek
>>
>>66967422
