I'm not enough of a homer to think that the Wings would be able to beat most of the other teams in the playoffs right now, yet they have at least been able to be a formidable challenge to the Lightning in their last two games. A good power play isn't enough to carry you to the finals, especially the way the calls have been going lately. The team would have to be the favorite every time. When you have 2 guys using over 20 million in cap space it makes the GMs job incredibly difficult. You have to find players that are not only affordable but can play and produce. They made the right choice in signing Kane and Toews though they had no choice. It just really handcuffs you later on. The hawks are also incredibly lucky they got Keith on a fairly cheap deal. He's another guy that could easily be making 9+.
Ultimately though I think winning 3 cups is pretty unreal even if they finish dead last for the 5 years. They've done what they needed to do with their core players.

The point of the matter that everybody needs to think about and apply to their lives is that others should learn to cease the act of letting such words have such profound effects on themselves. The only discernible reason these people react in such ways (aside from being a huge special-snowflake, hugbox-having faggot who can't try to dis-empower a 'powerful' entity that haunts them so) is due to public and majority pack mentality.
PC culture is poison because when we happen to be poisoned, we don't want to talk things out in a paced and civil manner, to try and open the avenues to pretty much a solid discussion piece. We want to fucking scream and shout and panic about ourselves and how we need help and assistance and attention.
There needs to be a deterrent in society where we're taught or suggested to be able to recognize situations and treat them better than we do now, for the sake of social society. Maybe some episodes on some TV shows that tell viewers, "Character A was called this word today, but he/she didn't let it get him/her down. In fact, he/she didn't have time to think about it since he/she didn't think of himself/herself as such."
That biker episode of South Park having to do with the boys changing the definition of the word 'fag' with the help and understanding of the townspeople- even Big Gay Al and Mr. Slave- was outstanding and synonymous to this view.
