Which club has the brighter future?
>>
why is it called a club? why cant they just call them teams like normal sports?
>>
Both are on slow and steady decline.
>>
>>66859420
Because each of them has several teams within them.
>>
>>66859420
At least it's not a franchise. What a shit name.
>>
>>66859420
europeans are pretentious faggots, even their teams need to sound exclusive.

Man Utd looks fucked without more investment, a really weirdly put together squad with mish-mash of players. Whereas Liverpool has a lot younger squad and can start to build quickly if they need too
>>
>>66859481
But United have Rashford, I can see him carrying them to the title next season.
>>
>>66859493
didn't think of that desu
>>
>>66859493
hopefully for utd he won't be a sterling or berahino mk.ii
>>
United have such a paper thin squad full of youth players nowhere near as good as they need to be for the club's ambitions, and a manager who hasn't got a clue.

As of now Liverpool easily have a brighter future, as they have a good core and just need a more solid defense to reach new heights, with a manager capable and intelligent enough to build a good squad and attract good players.
>>
Manchester United have spent an absolute fortune in recent years. How on earth is their squad so thin?
>>
>>66859610
Because they also sold/released like 20 players under LVG
>>

>>
>>66859412
That depends.

If Mourinho is coming to Old Trafford, I'd say they'll both look good in the next season.

If MU are too dumb to hire Mou, Liverpool will finish above United next season, no problem.

United, if they get Mourinho and they can spend the money he wants every summer.
>>
>>66859610
Rooney is shit, Carrick is old, Degea wants to go to Madrid, Shaw is perma-dead, schweinsteiger is finished, they desperately need leaders and players they can rely on at this point.
>>
Build a wall??.. Who is Ted Cruz. Wall not happening
>>
Liverpool certainly have a brighter future, because they've been mediocre for quite some time and they have more space to actually try and build a proper squad. United are pressured to return to successes asap and they'll probably keep throwing money in an attempt to do so, with questionable outcome. That's not the way to have a bright future, longterm speaking.
>>
>>66859698
First of all, Mourinho is a brilliant manager.

Second of all, if he's hired, then Van Gaal is fired.

And thirdly, if he's hired, there will be more transfer money to spend of lads who are better players than the flops Muh Philosopher signed.
>>
>>66859770

>>

>>

Liverpool is a much more balanced team than Manure. They're basically a couple signings away from becoming a consistent, title-challenging team.

for example:
Goetze (32m)
Sirigu/Horn (10m)
Jonas Hector (9m)
Grujic (7m)
Matip (free)
Markovic (loan return)

There you go. Train those faggots under Klopp and Liverpool will finally win a PL title.

You can even get rid of all the deadwood, grandpas and overrated shit like Henderson, Benteke, Lallana, Allen, Ings, Ibe, Balotelli, Mignolel, Luís Alberto, Illori, Teixeira, Enrique, Bogdán, Skrtel, Kolo, etc etc
>>

The Leicester Golden Age has just begun, bitch.
>>
>>66859420
Cause they have youngsters and (I don't know if Liverpool and man u have) they have teams in other sports
>>
>>66859646
I really think that United fans are kidding themselves that Mourinho can sort them out. He is a manager who does a fantastic job turning teams in to winners (although since leaving Chelsea the first time he has left the team in worse shape than he found it). But you guys are a whole new level of messed up at the moment and possibly too much of a mess for even him to sort out. Plus, from his first fuck up Giggs (friendly reminder: he had an affair with his brother's wife) and his pals Rio and Paul will be out to smear The Special One as not being "Manchester United" enough.
If I was Mourinho and considering it, I'd make telling Giggs to fuck off a pre-condition of hiring me.
Of course, I hope the board are stupid enough to give it to Giggs.

>>66859763
Ted Cruz was cruzin' to third place in NY even before he bragged about stealing a rigged election in Colorado and now that has blown up in his face (even our MSM, it seems, have a limit to the sleaziness they can tolerate for their candidates). He is going to get anally annihilated across the East Coast in the coming weeks, Murdoch (who picks winners) is endorsing Trump, Megyn Kelly has made her peace and soon Cruz will be out and people will be asking "why did the press ever seriously take this sleazy, nasty guy seriously?"
>>

>>

>Lallana

>Ibe

>Ings

It doesn't matter in the least that Ings barely played. He's an injury-prone Championship striker with average technique and a 1 in 4 goal/game ratio.

In other words, fucking SHIT. Don't need more strikers with Sturridge/Firmino/Origi.

Also Henderson, Lallana and Allen are all mediocre midtable players.

I think only Simeone could save United ATM.

Liverpool will be easily top 3 next season

>>
>>66862017
No, it literally does fucking not.

Vardy isn't injury-prone and had an almost 1:1 goal/game in the lower leagues, and 2:5 in the Championship.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamie_Vardy

Ings is shit, just a nobody which Brenny should have never signed to begin with.

at least he was cheaper than Carrol/Lambert.
>>
>>66862080
Vardy is also six years older than Ings.
>>
>>66861964
Well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Sturridge may well leave too. I'm tired of his heart not being in it and I don't buy his bullshit excuses. He has something to prove over the rest of this season and the fact that he doesn't seem to think he does is all the more reason to sell him. Sure that ironically probably would make him want to prove himself again but that just goes to show the whole situation is a bit of a shit sandwich.

But yeah, Ings would realistically not usurp number 4 in the pecking order if Sturridge stays. We need squad players though... no need to shit on him.

I agreed with you on Allen.

I think you're wrong about Henderson.

Lallana, I used to want out too... but like I said he's had some good games now so I think he deserves a bit more of a chance. He doesn't necessarily have to remain a first team guy.
>>
>>66861369

comes from sports club
each club has a reserves team and several youth teams
some clubs like manchester city and chelsea have womens teams, some clubs like barca and real madrid have teams in other more irrelevant sports like basketball
it's not hard
>>
>>66861278
Henderson
>prime henderson was key to liverpool challenging for the title - they fell apart when he was suspended, if he can sort out injuries he stays.
Lallana
>underrated, creates chances, works under klopp and creates chances
Allen
>underrated af, works great in a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 diamond, superb under klopp and during 13/14
Ibe
> young, adds energy to the side
Ings
>great squad player, versatile, can score goals

Rest I agree with and yes we're not that far from challenging for the title

Horn; Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Hector; Henderson/Grujic, Can; Lallana/Firmino, Gotze, Coutinho; Sturridge/Origi

That line-up should make top four and none of those signings are absurd.
>>
>>66859412
Liverpool
Klopp will make liverpool great (again?) especially because he can spend more money than in dortmund
>>
Do Liverpool have good players? Shit keeper, possibly the worst centre back pairing in the world, average full backs, a midfield with some alright Brazilians and no defensive quality and literally not one consistent striker out of about 5 players
>>
>>66865281
I started following Liverpool around the year 2002 or so, this is easily the most average squad I've ever seen

I can't believe they let their attack get so bad

Right now its obvious that Liverpool has a brighter future, and the only reason for that is Klopp, lets wait and see the next transfer windows if he brings some quality players, they desperately need a "world class" keeper and some other players to reinforce the defense and mid.

Manchester has no future with LVG, this man can't adapt to a team to save his life, hes been horrible in every way a manager can be horrible, lets see what Mourinho does, its obvious they are going to clean house as soon as he comes.

But right now in the current situation, Liverpool has the brighter future, just because they have a leader with a vision and the balls to get it done, just pray for them to cut the money ball bullshit.
>>
>>66890180

Smalling is a good defender, he has his flaws mainly around his heading but maybe Mou can drill out his shit technique he has.
Main problem is the full backs and wingers, Shaw has potential to be great if you stops getting injured but RBs been fucked for years while the winger have been a mix of inconsistency and no ideas outside running to the byline and drilling the ball across the ground
>>
United for sure, but they need to focus and become much more streamlined as a club. Away with the 70's mindset of Charlton and co bickering and ranting on about the united way of doing things blah blah blah.
They need Mourinho or someone of his ilk, and also get in a good DS, like Atletico have.
Man Utd are a Ferrari but with shitty mechanics and a driver past his prime with no idea about modern racing. A few tweeks here and there and they could become #1 in Europe for years. Liverpool don't have the same story or money to compete with Utd.
>>
>>66890180
i agree, you can tell by the amount of goals scored that new creative influences are needed, that said, lingard is overrated af, martial and memeford are both playing very well, memepiss could still be great if he actually works for it,
>>
>>66864890
>>66864890
Henderson is neither smart enough or possesses the technique to run Liverpool's midfield. He has stagnated due to his injuries and has yet to make as much of an impact as the 13/14 season. Has no balls to seize the game as Gerrard did.

Lallana, maybe, Klopp seems to like his workrate. Will be beneath Gotze should he come. Does impact the game when he calms down on his fucking Cruyff turns.

Allen should stay, real handy squad player.

Ibe is already gone imo. Removed all association of LFC in his social media and apparently refused to play in an U-21 game. Shame about that, couldve been very handy.

Ings, can't be assessed yet.
