He's actually going to do it, the absolute madman.
He'll become the best kicker the Amerifat world has ever seen.

Cool. It's fairly common for college and NFL kickers to have played soccer when they were kids, so it should be interesting to see if a pro soccer player can pull it off. I think having to aim the ball properly is going to be a nightmare for him. Any asshole with a strong leg can kick it 40+ yards, but getting it through the uprights is tough, especially if you're playing somewhere with shitty weather (which is half the NFL since it's a fall/winter sport).

It's a minimum of 20 yards, and usually somewhere between 30 and 50. And what I think you and this anon >>66606302 are both missing is that it's not as easy as kicking a soccer ball. You guys mock football and call it "handegg" all the time for a reason, the "ball" has a really weird shape that makes it easy to throw accurately but very difficult to kick accurately.

And amerifats think this sport requires technical skill
>>
>>66606419
the shape was actually designed to make it easy to carry, just so happens it also complements throwing. the forward pass used to be banned in the olden days. its more skill based now, back then it was just running through a wall of men on every play.

Has to be the right accent, though. An upper class English accent (like Aragorn in Lord of the Rings/Emma Watson in Harry Potter) is like a +2 on the 1-10 scale, any other kind of accent is like a -3. Nobody wants to fuck a scouser.

>>
>>66607475
That's not even close to the same things as trying to drive the ball 60 yards, 10 feet above the ground between 2 posts that are 18.5 feet apart with accuracy while 11 world class athletes are running at you full speed. Not saying he can't do it, just saying the job is significantly more difficult than you're giving credit
>>
>>66606334
people can underestimate those factors but dont underestimate the foot eye coordination of good soccer players (let alone professionals)

they can hit any part of that ball with any part of their foot with a high degree of efficiency. 2+ decades of kicking shit with your feet every day will do that.

yeah that's harder considering the shape of the ball. You seem to forget that he spent his whole life handling a ball with his feet and kicking it.Do you think footballer always have all the time they want and no pressure when they kick the ball?

doesn't matter does it lad? you sub them on to kick, then stop play, watch some adverts and get them off again before any handegg happens. might as well get one of our 9 year old school boys to come on and do the kicking, they're easily good enough and you wouldn't have to pay them as much as an adult tbf

not really, Fuchs probably makes something like £1.5 million a year, which would give him a higher salary than probably every kicker in the NFL. Although Americans might pay less tax.

But yeah it's something for him to do when he no longer has the physical ability to play in a top league like the EPL.

That's because you don't watch the sport often enough then. Every year there are at least a dozen instances of kickers getting creamed or having their plant legs taken out. It weighs on the mind of every kicker every time they line up. It's why guys drill practice kicks from 60-65+yds before the game but shank 30 yarders during the game

That's about $2.1 million, which would make him the 18th-highest paid kicker in the NFL.

At first I thought you guys were just trolling, but I'm starting to think that you actually believe this. We have literally millions of soccer players, if it was as easy as you're suggesting then kickers wouldn't get paid shit because any guy who played a year of D1 soccer or higher could do their job.

Lads it ain't that hard. Aidan O'Shea who's a GAA player did this tv show for RTE where he went to a combine/recruitment shit in america.
They were timing his kicks and he got it quickly enough.
The thing about Aidan is he would hardly be considered a skillful player. He's mostly used for his size and power. If Aidan an amateur GAA player can do it I'm sure Fuchs a professional soccer player can do it. It's harder to be a pro soccer player than a county GAA player.
