Wow, a thread about cricket! This last fall I saw a live cricket match at Dodger's Stadium featuring legends of the game like Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne. Ever since then, I have been totally in love with the sport, sometimes staying up all night to watch tests.
I've even started playing it with some Asians at university, who seemed quite shocked to have a white American interested in their sport! Following Chris Gayle's example, I've started weight lifting a lot to get the strength to just knock sixes all the time.
