Ive got five players in my youth team who can compete for spots in my first team when they grow up, and ive only bought one of them.
But my first team is fucked in this regard and will be for the foreseeable future, given how shit bristol rover's youth setup was and how little money i was getting.
2 season ago I had avg attendance of 6k. Now my stadium is at 17k with anoter expansion soon finishing.

Hi guys. Former tribble addict here, haven't played in about a year. Picked it up again a month ago and started a save with Met. Police in the Isthmian Premier.
First year got 1st. Poor results to start, then went on a ~10 game winning streak towards the end for automatic promotion.
Got 1st again in the Conference South the next year. Oxford City choked a 7 point lead with 10 games to go, then they got demolished 4-0 in the playoff final.
Now I'm in the Conference and I'm getting pummelled. I'm 21st, just inside the relegation zone with a decent GD. Not worried desu. We'll get out of it. Had some decent performances lately with unfortunate results, and a couple of costly injuries. I've kept a lot of the core I picked up in the Isthmian league on amateur contracts. My salary and attendance are by far the lowest in the league.
Oh, and there's talks of a new owner taking over... h-he won't fire me, right?

Yes and what I mean is its logical for him to raise the issue when it first concerns him, perhaps again if he doesn't feel you've addressed it and then definitely again when the transfer window is about to open as its a good time to let you know he is still unhappy and if you can't give him what he wants then you should allow him to leave.
It'd be equivalent to you going out with your mates and telling them that you're hungry when you're somewhere with no food then hours later you're walking past a bunch of shops/fast food restaurants. Your friends may have forgotten you were hungry but if you say something again they will likely be happy to help you resolve the issue. If you wait until you have passed the shops then you will be shit out of luck.

There absolutely are a few great African players that come through but you can send a ton of scouts to Africa and find one or two potential GOATs and a handful that will be good or great or you could just send a bunch of scouts to South America and find tons of GOATs. Plus obviously you have AFCoN rape every couple of years if you sign quite a few of them.
There really is no good reason to scout Africa over South America, its only if you have a good enough scouting network to scout both but even then you'll end up signing way more South Americans than Africans.

That's true I hadn't considered that, it's fucking crazy when you see people put serious hours into completely average games. I've had MGS4 for about 7 year and never played it even though it got great reviews and I fucking love stealth games, but I can't justify sitting through shit like 40 minute cutscenes.
I agree fully with that, I think that's why I really stopped playing anything on consoles. EA are fucking terrible for it, they release half finished games, wait to see what people complain about the most then release a patch like 3 months later. They're unironically paying for the privilege of being beta testers it's fucking insane. I know FM has it's problems, but it's the only game I can easily justify paying full price for purely because of the hours you can spend on it and the sheer emotion it can put you through, it's always a good investment as far as that's concerned.
