Im back m8
>less linebackers to cover the same space
No there are no almost no 3-4 fronts with booth olbs with their hand in the dirt and even so the basic NFL play not over coverage or blitz is sending 4. They don't have less lbs to cover the same space it will still be three but they could potentially drop all 4 lbs back and only send 3 where a 4-3 de will never be as to cover a zone. Switching coverage based on olb dropping isn't big deal m8 on passing downs they will almost always have the weak side rush and then shift accordingly
>4-3 de does not equal 3-4 olb
>roles are specific you need guys at special size and speed
W E W L A Dplayers get thrown around when trades or systems switched or even through draft coaches make 3-4 olbs play de and 4-3 des play olb they switch around all the time because they are almost exactly the same fucking thing
If different body types and skills is what you mean you are reaching so hard to make it work
They are both pass rushers
Only 3-4 olbs get to drop into coverage on a regular basis
The resulting difference that 4-3 des can put on more weight to give them more force on the line,
Search up any successful 4-3 de or 3-4 olb you can see that they will generally be 6'3 + and 255+lbs add more weight for height and add marginally more for 4-3 des IE 6'3 and 270 4-3 de
As for MLB, there is little to no difference in the specifics to be in the inside
3-4 more athleticism is preferred and more weight in a perfect world everyone is Patrick Willis 6'1 250 and 4.56 40 it's hard to find these guys even for a 4-3
They are generally bigger in a 3-4 because any one of them can ad will be asked to stick up a tight end, fullback, leading blocker, or pulling guard.
There is no preference of a specific body type at 3-4 or 4-3 ilb that would make the two incompatible or even detrimental to a player's performance
The same goes for 4-3 de and 3-4 olb with the exception of a 4-3 de getting btfo in coverage t. jadevon clowney

Mychal Kendricks 6-0 240
Karlos dansby 6-4 250 3-4
Rolando McClain 6-4 255 4-3
Point that I made originally
There is no significant difference in the players teams put at MLB in a 4-3 or 3-4 except weight at an almost negligible difference and even when they put "undersized" guys in a 3-4 they are still effective because saying they require bigger guys at linebacker is speaking theoretically in ideals people make do with what they have and can find that sometimes a player with less weight is better at the position
The keyword being players performance
Doesn't matter if 3-4 or 4-3 MLB will still be good or not good depending on if they are a good player to begin with

No. They get a call before the pick from the team that's going to take him, however.
> Also what about induvidual team loyalties?
Rookie contracts are 3 years, iirc, and the pay depends on the pick spot -- i.e. higher pick = higher pay.

Broncos fan here. Serious question, have the Chiefs ever done anything noteworthy except just consistently blow it when it counts? Like I don't even consider the chiefs to be that big of a threat to the Broncos. The raiders are scarier because they have actual heart and have been making good deals. The Chiefs only won a playoff game last year cause toxins qbs are trash. Once they met a real team, the pats, they imploded like normal. I mean come on, Andy "I'm practically a Walrus in a jacket" Reid is your coach. Alex "most mediocre and bland qb ever" is under center. And Jamal "whoops there goes the ball and my knee caps again" Charles is our main offensive "weapon". Just admit it, you guys are jests tier bad and haven't done anything really meaningful but star pad during the regular season and then implode like the reverse Trojan horse you are (think something that looks really scary but is actually benign, like a weird looking mole).

RG3 is the perfect signing for moneyball because they wanna target fairly young free agents that were good at some point in their career and had a down year or have been in a slump.
Still I can't help but feel disappointed. I would rather they just draft somebody and let him him be the guy through good and bad. If they draft a guy now there's going to be quarterback controversy and there's going to be constant bickering with about who should start. I've seen enough of that shit.

Not that the Browns were going to do anything this season anyway. Maybe they'll cuck another team into trading away their top picks for the next 2 years for the #2 overall spot. Track and field long distance racing, especially the marathon is more capricious. The very best in golf and tennis don't win all the time; there's more parity at the top. 18-1 is the best football team ever, losing in the championship. Remarkable, but an extreme outlier.
Physically demanding? Tour de France, Greco-Roman wrestling, hockey, boxing, marathon, all take longer to recover, are more exhaustive, put a greater burden on your body, and simply can't be done as often as football (except hockey, but you get the point).
Return of the black qbs.

As a Pats fan, I believe in sports karma. The Pats were garbage for a long time, and were the embarrassed whipping boy to the Bears in 85. I live in Buffalo these days and my friends who are from here are all Bills fans of course. I don't gloat when the Pats win, I talk up the Bills as a trap game when they play in the Ralph every season, and I think of the Bills as a team with some bad luck but a franchise with a fan base deserving of HUGE respect for sticking by their team. Their run of four consecutive Owl appearances should be appreciated even though they lost.
Basically sports is like anything else in life. Enjoy your successes but don't be an insufferable dick about it, and appreciate why others would be proud of their own.

>2009
In the Sooners' first game of the season (against Brigham Young), Bradford suffered a third-degree AC joint sprain one play after becoming Oklahoma's all-time passing leader. Playing without Bradford for the second half of the game, Oklahoma went on to lose 14–13. Bradford was originally scheduled to return in about three to six week, but head coach Bob Stoops initially refused to either confirm or deny that timetable. After missing three weeks, Bradford returned to the field during the Baylor game, and completed 27 of 49 passes for 389 yards and one touchdown, leading the Sooners to a 33–7 victory. Bradford re-injured his right shoulder on October 17, 2009 in the Red River Rivalry against Texas on the second drive of the game. It was later announced that he would undergo season-ending shoulder surgery.
>2011
Coming into the 2011 season, expectations were high for the St. Louis Rams and Bradford. After going 4-0 in the preseason, it appeared as if they would be fulfilled, but once the regular season rolled around injuries ravaged the roster. A high ankle sprain bothered Bradford for the majority of the year and the Rams finished a dismal 2-14.
>2013
During the Rams week 7 game against the Carolina Panthers, Bradford tore his left ACL on a run out of bounds, ending his season.
>2014
Bradford suffered an injury to the same ACL after being sacked during a preseason game against the Cleveland Browns and missed the entire 2014 season.

>Are you retarded enough to imply he's not one of the most injury prone QBs in football?
never said that
you seem to think that i don't know bradford's history or something, and that you have to spoonfed me this information
your original point was that he was constantly injured, so he's the #1 bust of all time or whatever
we've already established he wasn't that, so my point about the 14 games was that yes, that's a definite improvement from missing the entire season with an ACL injury
if a player is hobbled by injuries for an entire season then comes back next year and plays all but 2 games it's not an improvement? those last two games were just crucial to the classification of "improved year"?
either way talking about this seems to just make people go into "LOL IGGLES" mode so i do regret bringing it up if that's any consolation

The point is Jamarcus Russell played like a bust and got lineman-tier obese so the Raiders cut him almost immediately.
Meanwhile Bradford I think is the bigger bust because teams keep buying into his "promising talent" and "he's good when healthy" kind of shit and he just never delivers. You know what the Colts did when they traded for Trent Richardson, well it's the same kind of blind belief, except it's even worse.
Honestly though I think he's the biggest con artist in America since he managed to squeeze dozens of millions from teams for barely playing.

i guess it really depends on what you means by bust
yes, bradford has never had a #1 overall pick kinda season after maybe 2010, but the fact that he's still playing and starting (inb4 "HE SHOULDN'T BE LOL IGGLES") sort of disqualifies him from being an all-time bust
yes in regards to his draft position he's a massive disappointment, but it's a fall from franchise QB to mediocre starter, not from first round QB to out of the league
it's frustrating for bradford to never quite reach what he could have been, but there's no way his drafting ranks up there with spending a first rounder on jamarcus or brandon weeden
