Edgar Martinez is a top 3 right handed hitter of all time with a better triple slash than Pete Rose.
The people plus or minus 15 spots from him on the all time charts are all in the HoF except Bonds. And he played almost legally blind for half of his career.
Not putting one of the greatest hitters this game has ever seen into the HoF because he played DH (after tearing his hamstring and being unable to continue playing 3rd, where he had almost 500 starts.) is nothing short of an embarrassment to the sport.
