They look exhausted. Getting beaten to every puck. The Preds are fast, but they're not *that* fast.
If there are weaknesses to the Kings' game it's speed and the tendency to play one-man-to-one-man. The Preds are a fast team that uses a lot of fakes, diversions, tricky puck play in order to get space. Against an exhausted, system-playing team, that's actually a huge benefit. If the Preds were playing against a team that was less system-oriented and that wasn't so big, it would be a much closer game than it is.
