I say we elect a guy from /nfl/ or /nba/ to run this team. Or even /mls/. The core of our leaders are too influenced by real football to realize that the game has different mechanics. We need someone with no common interest in the sport but is still /sp/ at art to convene with a council of actual /sp/artans who do know about the sport.
We don't need just one head coach. We need a team of people deciding on the best tactics and decisions.

Why is this going to /mlp/? Sports have different coaches for different purposes. I think our biggest issue is our leaders actually know footy opposed to most others and it's a part of their daily life. We need a group of people to discuss tactics, not many, like 3-5 to decide on decisions and plans, brainstorm and figure out what the best decision is. In many sports when a shitty HC is controlling the team and all the other coaches are just his puppets the team is extremely shit, but if you have a team with great other coaching, but a shitty HC the team still does fairly well.

Some comments on my tactical choices:
In my tests, the preset 2 I was using was consistently beating Bitten in his presets 1 and 2, both fluid and non-fluid. However, his preset 3 was a nightmare for me. It was beating all my presets quite frequently. My preset 3 I set up prematch was my best attempt at a counter for his preset 3, but that too was winning in tests only half the time. Fortunately for me, he started on preset 1. And the last 10 minutes of preset 3 were not enough to beat my counter.
As for why I made no changes at half time: I believed in my formation. I've conceded first in tests before, one goal wouldn't shake me.
