Seriously though, it's our tradition. We've been participating in this sport since its beginings, for more than 100 years now. Also Slovenes "invented" ski flying part of this sport and also made the biggest hills around the world. The conditions for training are really good in Slovenia, due to good facilities and funding, both government and private. Ski jumping is slowly becoming more popular than football in Slovenia.

Dejstvo je, da na Planico gre 50k+ folka, na stadion pa 10k-15k. Pa še to, če igramo s "pomembnimi". Bi lahko 5 največjih stadionov nafilu pa nebi dosegu te cifre.
