Oldfag here and I saw him bat live at Eden Park in the 92 World Cup qf when NZ choked vs Pakistan. You really couldn't get a sense of how great he was by watching him on tv, watching him live there was a palpable difference in the quality of his strokeplay even compared to the likes of Inzi.
