they have had a shitty season and only beat bad teams.
but a lot of personnel has shifted with BWright coming back and the trades. with gasol out and the new additions they have an opportunity to explore a 4 out style like the rest of the league, and we'll have to reevaluate them going foward. but this game means nothing because its the lakers.

honestly? it has almost nothing to do with the players right now. it's almost all shit coaching. the rotations are mind-bogglingly bad.
i mean the players themselves aren't the best defensively, but most of them have no idea where to be.
a change of coach would add at least ten wins. brandon ingram or ben simmons would add a few. the players we have developing will add a few. a key FA pickup (whiteside) will add a few.
the lakers will be fine in a few seasons, i just don't want to watch this blatant tanking anymore. it's demoralizing.
