The defence is odd. Lovren did a u-turn and was playing very well before he got injured. Sakho overestimates himself sometimes and gets caught on the ball or gives it away trying to thread the perfect ball. Clyne is solid and was a superb signing. Moreno can switch off (Ramires at Stamford Bridge, Mane in the League Cup) but is great going forward. Skrtel is constantly backtracking for no reason when the rest of the defence pushes up to play offside. He'll make the last-ditch tackle more often than not, but he really shouldn't have to.
There's no point covering the strikers apart from Benteke and everyone knows the problems there. The midfield is where I think this "Liverpool are a very good side" doesn't hold. Coutinho is great but he needs players ahead of him that'll stretch defences and open up space, which he hasn't had so far this season. His shooting is pretty shit but gets forgotten when he occasionally scores a blooter.
For all the crossfield balls and runs, Henderson still needs to score more. In fact, the whole midfield need to contribute more goals. Can has flashes, but always seems to keep his head down. He'll win the ball well, run up the pitch then fail to spot a teammate's run and lose the ball. Lucas is one of the best tacklers around but he's slow as shit. Milner runs a lot so good for him.
