Betting doesn't go by freak knockouts (intended or not). It goes by who is likely to win/who has more tools to win. Aldo is no doubt the more complete fighter than Conor, that's why he was a favorite, same with RDA but even more so in that RDA ALSO has a weight advantage over Conor and is the same height. Betters aren't braindead fanboys, they look at reality, they're not always right (Aldo-Conor, Dos Santos-Cain 1, GSP-Matt Serra 1) because this is the fight game, anything can happen but the best they can do is bet intelligently.

RDA is going to try to get in McGregor's face and suffocate him with level changes, hard shots and the clinch/takedowns which leaves him vulnerable to McGregor's counter game.
