Harbaugh got fired. And three people were responsible for this, Trent Baalke, Jed York and Jim Tomsula.
Trent Baalke wasn't fired and neither was Jed York.
Jim Tomsula got Harbaugh fired and was in turn fired himself.

Apparently Jim want more freedom on the team such as staff changes , drafting etc. but york thought it would be a bad idea so jim continued to discuss with york , york being a average joe and nothing literally nothing about football until much recently(past few years) he argued with jim , rumors say that jim was furious with york and vice versa.
York is apparently controlling the niners inside out like the previous owner
the exception being that edward knew football because he grew up with football and edward had bill walsh
