I want to get into football/soccer and I have no idea how to even start.
A friend of mine said to start watching La Liga because it's what he watches and is easy to follow.
Advice on getting into it?

Premier league is the easiest to get into. I even casually watch the games saturday and sunday mornings despite not really being a soccer nut. It's something to watch in the morning.

Honestly, you should pick a PL team OP. All the games are aired on NBS/FS1 etc. Not many La Liga games make it over to North America outside of Barca and Real Madrid, and you definately don't want to be the kind of person who follows either of those teams.
