Well he's being put in the middle of prelims on a Fight Pass card while he is top 5 ranked, undefeated, young, exciting, part of one of the best camps in MMA and arguably a nightmare matchup for the whole division. He beat Eduardo and Mizugaki (both ranked opponents) soundly and is still being treated like a prelim guy. I totally understand that he's going to check what he is worth, since he's not getting payed a lot at all and as he told, he isn't looking to become a Gray Maynard type of guy, and for good reason. I mean, it's clear that BW isn't creating any buzz at all, but that's partly the UFC's fault by lacking to promote anyone in that division, while I believe that it could be more and more exciting in the future. I mean the Barao era is over and you can get a lot of interesting fights coming up with Dillasnek, Cruz, Almeida, Sterling, Assuncao and maybe even Faber. It's a way better state than FW, FLW and LHW are in at this point.

He's nowhere near as good as Cain is. All indications are set on Cain being the champ again. As far as Stipe vs. JDS goes, thats the fight that Stipe wants. The boring cage clinch that tires the other guy out, and then score some points with his striking and maybe an occasional takedown. JDS beat him at his own game, but in my opinion, Werdum isn't stronger than Stipe, so he won't be able to muscle him around as much.
I'm making my case for Stipe but lettuce be reality, everything is also in place for Werdum to embarrass him just as he did with Browne.

You have old sports that aren't lucrative (judo, wrestling) and you have new sports that aren't lucrative (K1, BJJ).

False. Hendricks has been terribly inactive in addition to his weight cutting issues. Thompson has been showing improved tdd every fight and has always been a strong scrambler. He has been spending a great deal of time training with Weidman and I expect will be able to keep himself upright long enough to do damage. He is also a lot stronger than he looks. He has not been close to getting muscled around by any opponent and even held his own with Matt brown in the clinch (granted he lost that fight in other places). Thompson will use his superb sense or range and precise strikes to keep Hendricks hesitant to shoot from far out. He is more than just a meme kicker, he has real power in his hand and great combinations.

Glory actually created a real buzz here in the Netherlands this month. Everybody here was talking about it. I think they just need to shift their market to Europe, because Americans surely don't give a shit.

I can't say, I mean I follow Glory, but I make a concious effort to do so. Back when K1 was aired on EuroSport etc, people like my dad would tune in and watch.
For comparison, my dad knows about Aerts, Sauwer, Remy etc just from that. And kickboxing was only popular here in like the 80s with Benny "The Jet" and the like.
