What's next for him? I'm struggling to think of clubs that he would even want to manage, and I don't think he's ready yet to move in to the less day-to-day nature of national team managing.

Manchester United, England, Portugal. These are the only teams I could really see his next move being. Maybe Atletico Madrid, ironically if Chelsea hire Simeone as their next manager in the summer.

I'm guessing it will be Man U though, but it's really difficult to predict.

maybe halal next season, but they would have to get rid of penaldo, ramos and a few more

He needs treatment for the extended mental breakdown he's suffering, then he goes to China.

On a more serious note, probably a team like Valencia or Sevilla.

lol no, he would never manage a smaller team like that. He is really beginning to run out of big team options though, but his exes like taking him back.

>>
Would City take him?
>>
Is there any traditional team that is underperforming, doesn't care about attacking football and wants desperately to win?

I can think of Milan, but Mourinho has a history with Inter.
>>
Maybe Roma? Or Real Madrid?
>>
>>64290970

Man City? Pellegrini is a terrible manager.
>>
>>64291118
>it's where he originally wanted to go after Real
Just because United fans have deluded themselves into believing this doesn't mean that it's true. You sort of need evidence for something to be true.

When he joined Chelsea again he said that it feels great to be home at one of the few clubs that he really cares about, and in his favourite city in the world.
>(neither of which applies to Manchester)
>>
>PSG
>United
>City
I don't see many more options unless he'd be willing to move to Turkey/Russia. He's not going back to Real as long as some of the players are still there and Inter are doing very well with Mancini.
>>
>>64291166
hahaha art attack?
>>
one thing to keep in mind is his high wages, not many teams can afford that and I doubt he's going to take a pay cut until he has no other option
>>
>>64291160
Milan can't afford him at the moment and he hates the Italian media even more than the English.
>>
>>64291166
I don't think he's a terrible manager, just not a great manager and boring as fuck. Though being boring and not causing drama is probably in the job description.

>>
>>64291157
I think they'll be going all out for Pep but if he snubs them then I see no reason why they wouldn't try to get Mourinho.

It'd be fun to see him manage a 2nd tier club like Roma, Spurs, Napoli or Valencia but I think he'd see it as a step down

England is the only option that would require him not to move, so that could be a definite possibility. The FA would have no issues with making him the highest paid manager in the world either.

He did say (after Pep went to Bayern) that he doesn't want to manage in the Bundesliga because he doesn't care about that league, and I'd imagine the same could be true for Ligue 1. But if he's running out of options I guess PSG is possible.

Manchester United in January
>>
>>64291312
Obviously, but I was talking about the beginning of his second tenure. Everything was going swimmingly until January 2014.

Even though he already seemed different, I remember him defending his players no matter what at Chelsea, Inter and initially at Madrid, while at #2 Chelsea every loss was excused by "my strikers are shit", "the other team is more talented"
>>
>>64291345
It's crazy, managers who start blaming the players for everything are just asking to be sacked.

It's the sort of thing you expect at the bottom of League Two not from a manager of a big club.
>>
>>64291345
He didn't do that until recently really, he's mostly blamed the referees, media and ballboys 2bh
>>
>>64291327
What can I tell you? Not the ones I know. They crave the old Man U way, and he's not going to give them that. He's actually managed to fucking destroy the morale of Chelsea fans with his negative play. And if you doubt that, go and read the 42 page live thread of their game against Leicester. Most of them were raging and wanted him out.

Jose - Man U is just reflex mental clickbait. Not happening. But I'm sure we'll hear a lot about it.

>unimpressive

This is literally the paragraph which should be paraded around as why multi-billionaire bored owners spending literally billions on football teams in less than 10 years is a bad thing.

People now expect teams to spend more than £50m on 3 players.

Yet Lester is 1st and they didn't spend £50m. Arsenal are 2nd and they didn't spend £50m.

Why is it now expected for teams to spend £50m on 3 players and why are writers supporting the spending of £100m+ a window on like 5 players or less as a good thing.

Because with Mourinho it's only about top teams and top leagues, given he doesn't speak German, Buyern is unlikely, which leaves 3 other leagues plus Portugal if he happen to want a homecoming and France if he wants an easy shot for the 3rd CL without having to worry about league. This leaves us with about 5 potential clubs.

I'd love to see him at Valencia, although Benitez is more likely to go back.

oh boy, a football chant. I guess it's a unique quality of spaniard fans to take the piss on rivals with their chants.
Mourinho was sacked after he burnt out half of his squad, lost the dressing room, being 10 points down in liga after 3 months in competition, and failing to win shit in his last year at halal. Unsurprisingly it's almost exactly what has happened right now in Chelsea. I guess the english hate portuguese managers too?

>I feel like your media likes to burn the portuguese managers and/because it sells.
That's literally with every manager though. Spanish media is pure toxic cancer. Really, absolutely nothing to do with the portuguese, you just notice it more with them since they are your countrymen.
Nuno was at valencia, who has a notoriously horrible and demanding fanbase who think they should be at the top of all competitions no matter how shit they are. Him getting sacked was just a logical outcome of the present results. They have absolutely no patience there. Remember they were booing Emery (and sacked him) when he was always getting them 3rd place behind barcelona and halal, saying he should do better kek
Fans take the piss using anything they can and some clubs are more crass than others. It's certainly not a uniform thing. They changed regulation last year so now no insults are allowed in the chants, which made halal's favourite chant insulting catalonia at every home game illegal lel

He should Coach the USA national team or a MLS team, preferably the LA Galaxy.

That's the biggest joke I've heard. Why on earth would a top flight manager who's already in the record books do that.
>>
>Mou back in Madrid after Ronaldo leaves
>Ramos forgives him for all his shit
>no more Casillas drama
>less Portuguese players for him to obsess over

mite b cool

I would welcome him, Sneijder and him get along great. Get rid of blind asap. But knowing the KNVB they won't spend money and stick with shitty blind so we enter the dark ages of dutch football
>>
>>64304792
There's also half the fan base hating him too
>>
>>64304860
It's fucking Madrid, when did they ever love somebody fully? Even Ronaldo is getting booed at times and they would be a mid table club without him.
>>
>>64304902
They'd probably be better off right now not having to play Ronaldo. With him, if they're not playing a minnow, they're playing a game 10 vs 11.
>>
>>64304902
but, unlike mourinho this time, they don't hate them before they join the club kek

>spanish media is pure toxic cancer
>not all media

ours is just as vitriolic, reactionary and cancerous, friendo
>>
>>64304946
spanish media has gone to the lengths of photoshoping pictures, deleting defenders to make barcelona goals 'offside' so they could blame barcelona of refball or colouring united fans tshirts white to claim halal has a bigger fanbase than it has in the US. Try and beat that with examples of your media, my friend. I dare you lel

There is a better chance of him coming back to Chelsea the 3rd time.

But Messi likes him. New president seems to be total idiot and La Masia is long dead. Barca would forgive the past if they have 1 trophyless season.

>But Messi likes him.

But the fans hate him. Mourinho at Barca would be like Mourinho at Arsenal.

>colouring united fans tshirts white to claim halal has a bigger fanbase than it has in the US

lol, I remember this. 110,000 fans at Michigan's stadium, about 80% of them were United fans, so Marca went and photoshopped the whole thing so it looked like everyone was a Real fan. It's their own fault for agreeing to a game in fucking Michigan tbf, if they had held it in Miami the crowd would have been evenly split between United and Real.

USA is going to get rid of Klansman and throw however many 0's he needs on the end of his paycheck.
