Who is the best all-round player in your favourite sport?
By all-round, I mean the player who might not be the best at their chosen position but can play at a very high level in many different positions in the sport.
I think the best example of this in Football is David Alaba.
He plays fullback for Bayern Munich, plays anywhere in the midfield for the Austrian National Team, can play anywhere on either wing (Winger, wide midfielder, fullback) and could probably play as a centreback quite well too.

But the best has to be messi. Right now, he could walk into a starting role at any top club at any position other than GK or CB. If he trained at being a fullback or midfielder he would become GOAT in those positions too.
Also he'd probably be a good enough CB with his speed and positioning/vision for any mid to lower table top flight club
