Memes aside, how many points will Chelsea get this season?
If you think of a really good, title winning tier season, they might score 43 points in each half of the season to take them to 86.
As it stands now, there's three games left of this 'half' and they have 15.
Lets say they get a win, a draw, and a loss from their next 3 (Sunderland, Watford, Man United in any order really) meaning at the halfway stage they have 19 points.
A really good season in the second half, and the max they can get is 62 if they play with title winning form.
But they've got loads of hard away games coming next year, which means this isn't likely.
It's probably fair to say Chelsea will score a meagre 50 something this season. I'll pin the tail on the donkey at 57 points and 8th in the league.
Does anyone reckon they'll be in the 40s?

probably more like 60ish or 55+ points like OP suggested. I don't think they'l manage title winning form or anything like it either. 57 is a good guess but I'll go one further and say 52 or 53.

if they really get only 19, i doubt they'll finish with more than 50-55, so a midtable finish is most likely
especially if Mou stays since the team is clearly against him
