For the last couple of weeks I've been mostly betting on draws; some single, some doubles. I've, so far, found that betting on draws is much more profitable than it may seem. Because of the fact that most people don't like to bet on draws, the lowest odd you'll see for a draw between any two teams is 3.00, with a good number of 3.50s out there.
The Logic
Let's say you bet on 2 draws, each a single, and stake 5 units for each. If all lose, you just lost 10 units. Now, if you win on your 3rd try, you make 15 units of which 10 are profit. This means that you can break even with a win ratio of %33. This is not too hard to achieve. For every 2 single draw bets you lose, you just have to win 1 to break even. Now, hit a couple of singles and doubles here and there and you're easily in profit.

Test cricket is very much a long-term investment, I probably should have mentioned that :^) But it is also one of the safest bets you can make because it is an extremely predictable sport due to the duration of it. The only thing that drastically alters it is the conditions and I didn't think the weekend rain would impact the match enough to prevent NZ from winning which is why I gave the tip.
The next big day is Boxing Day (December 26). South Africa over England @ $2 looks like an outstanding bet, especially because it is at Durban which is very much a results grounds. This is an overs bet. It means you you want the total combined score of both teams to be greater than 208.5.

Basically the clippers have to win the game by 2 points or more for that bet to win. And over 208.5 means that the two teams need to combine for at least 209 points for your bet to win. The reason that the line is 208.5 and not 208 or 209 is so that there is no possibility for a push. Either your bet wins or your bet loses (it cannot tie, which would result in your money back). Also, those bets are both valid in OT (say for example the rockets and nuggets are tied at 100 at the end of regulation, and the final score is 107-104, the bet would win)

I need some help with my Onan 316 that has an H2 system from a 318 including the hydro cooler.
I mounted the H2 valve body where the original H1 unit was mounted and used all the lines from the 318 and all was good in the world.
After a year or so I got to thinking about mounting the original H1 body in a new location and shortening my original lever to make my 316 have 3 spools.
Mounting every thing was the easy part and the linkage works well with no binding. The part that worries me is how do I plumb this to my pump?
I jumped into this thinking you can just run a T fitting on the high pressure side of the pump and on the return line as well. Apparently it's not that simple and I'm too worried about ruining my pump or anything other parts for that matter to try without asking first.
Both the H2 and H1 valve bodys do not have a power beyond port, which I have since learned is normally how you would do this sort of thing.
I have since found out that Aux-Hyd sells a H3 kit for the 318 that looks to be a H1 valve body mounted kinda like I did. I do not want to bother him with my question since I don't think I need to buy anything from him. And since I have no power steering his setup would be different anyway.

The hydraulic fluid is always flowing thru the valve except when you operate the valve. So if you "T" the line, the fluid will flow thru the unused valve and not build any pressure in the valve being operated. You could put a hydraulic splitter in the supply line to split the flow between the two valves, but you will end up with reduced flow and slower acting cylinders. The reason you can't just put them in series without using a power beyond port is the high pressure from operating a valve will feed back to the output of the other valve, blowing seals not meant to handle high pressure.

I thought I was profitable across the board because my roll was going up but after I started tracking I realized I was slowly losing money (~-3% ROI) on the vast majority of my bets and only truly profitable on the ones where I was confident enough to go large.
